RA Aircheck 3FOX FM jingles 1980 part 1
The quality is not great but these were the first jingles used in 1980 3FOX FM was loacated in the Channel 10 complex at Nunawading you could often watch the filming of Neighbours as there was a window in the reception area

Great website! A couple of comments – I am pretty sure that the Fox jingles here are from the first half of 1986 (prior to Austereo taking over the station). They certainly had the ‘giving Melbourne a lift’ campaign in the first half of that year.
Also, on the promo you have elsewhere for Take 40 from 1984 – I think that is voiced by Phil Huzzard, rather than Mark Lea. Both certainly would have been working at The Fox in 1984.
Andy, thanks for your comments, I am fairly sure the voice on the Take 40 promo was Mark Lea, I will endeavour to verify this and if I am wrong I will repost, hope you continue to enjoy my humble efforts to get our radio industry here in Australia some sort of audio accounts of the past
