Just found this on an old BASF Maxima Chrome tape there was Frank Avis News Director and Tim Webster, amazing these tapes have lasted  this long, the voices haven’t changed Ron.E. what is your secret ?

Here’s a classic piece of radio from a shortlived experiment in 76 thanks to Gregg Sinclair for this here’s a young Tim Webster  before his 2NX days on the audio the picture below was from 1981 same time Tim was at 2Day FM doing 12-4pm pre-recorded did some work experience there at level 2/220 Pacific Hwy Crows Nest

There was Tim, Grant Goldman, Tony Hartney, George Moore, Eddie Hribar, Peter Sinclair , Brad March, Dave Norman, sorry guys as I recall more names I’ll revise this post

My workmates always ragged me for walking around the corridors of FM 104 with my 2Day FM sweatshirt, mind you thanks to Tony and the promotions team at FM 104 Rock shop the old rockin’ roo was worn occasionally too

When I found this aircheck, I thought it was the rock 40 countdown, which was a syndicated Sunday night show this was when 2 Day FM went on a full rock format the end features a promo voiced by Holger Brockman
