Makes a surprising change when you find a reasonable sound quality to a rather old aircheck of your own, mind you having listened to this now, hindsight is a useful thing, the Program Director (AKA moir) thinks this bloke needs to rack up more airtime, and I remember sitting on the floor with Peter Mobbs in Greg Clarks office (67 Darby St) because Mobbs wanted some time off so he unsuccessfully tried to sway Clarkey into putting me on brekky, in the rejig I scored the Late night gig awesome bunch of very talented jocks weaved their magic with the Denon Cd cart decks, Studer Reel to Reel and DAT machines in those studios
Radio was so much better back then and NEW FM had some of the best announcers, Graham Rodgers, Mobbs & Fletch, Gavin Morris, Rick Manchin?, even Steve Graham was good back then. I remember being so sad when Mobbs & Fletch left the station. lol
